Adventures in Seoul

Food! Drink! Vintage shopping! Stationary! Adorable Korean children!
My holiday to South Korea was wonderful.  Seoul exceeded all expectations with lovely people, delicious food and most importantly, an abundance of 5 grain bread and cheese (which tends to be hard to find/expensive in Japan). I was the happiest girl ever. More pictures coming this way soon!

Every morning

A photo series by Nanako Koyama. Breakfast habits can be a fairly intimate and individual thing and her series captures people in those moments beautifully. I'm ashamed to say that I'm a roll out of bed, shower and run out the door kind of girl. There is never any time for breakfast. I wish that was that kind of person I was, but in my heart I know I'll always take the 15 minutes sleep over the food.

Bless!

I spent the weekend in Kyoto and Nara and among other things I saw this adorable little bambi wandering around the park. Bless his little deer hooves.
I'm off to South Korea tomorrow for two weeks and am excited for many wonderful adventures. I've heard many things about how amazing the stationary is in Seoul so I cannot wait! I'm also staying in a themed love hotel?! It shall be an interesting experience!

Until then, happy spring (or autumn) wherever you may be! x

Nice things for your Monday

Amy Merrick is such an amazing florist.
Joy posted some great Mad Men photos I'd never seen here.
A visit to Jeff Luker's website served as a great reminder to never stop hunting for adventure.
And... the lovely Prudence Lansell shared her wedding shots here. It looked like one hell of a party!

Road trippin'

A few snaps from recents road trips around northern Japan while the snow was falling hard and fast. There's nothing like hitting the road!
